Day
Thursday. To sleep soon enough after ten to awaken at six twenty-five. My, my. A good long night's sleep. Up to take the blood pressure (114/72, 114/72, 118/70) and listen to the last half of Democracy Now! before getting up and driving to the Lakeshore ATM to find it out of order. OK, on over the hill to park by the 7-11 store and cross Grand to enter the restaurant and settle in at my indoor dining area table with the papers.
The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up just after nine to walk to the car and drive home, taking the selfie in the lobby before heading for the bathroom without having to hurry, taking the blood pressure (103/64, 94/65, 103/63) to find it low. Was I feeling light headed? A bit. Does eating a large meal tend to lower your blood pressure?
Edited and posted yesterday's entry, processed the morning's pictures and checked the bank balances online as I always do to find a charge of $43.99 from something called Starz Entertainment. Where did that come from? I haven't subscribed to any additional entertainment services, where did they get my name and credit card information? I hope this isn't the result of some kind of information breach and there are other charges to come from wherever. The online comments about Starz are not complimentary with a number saying they were billed yet hadn't opened a subscription.
Later. Lied down at noon and ended up sleeping on and off until four in the afternoon feeling really tired and wasted through the entire thing. Not sure where that came from, particularly after such a good night's sleep. Makes you wonder what's going on.
Still wondering about Starz and so tried logging into the app and discovered I had an I.D. and password. Checked my account history and discovered I'd been a member of the thing for over a year and hadn't noticed they'd been charging my card every six months. There'd been some posts on the web from people who said they'd tried their seven day free offer and Starz had billed them even though they hadn't agreed to continue the subscription. What had I tried it for? Why have I so totally forgotten? Checked to find it on my password list, so I'd evidently subscribed, but haven't dialed into it or watched any of their offerings since.
Evening. Watched the Jets-Colts game until eight when I gave up and went to bed. Still tired, the blood pressure happily normal though through the entire day.
