Nine
Sunday. Lights out before ten to awaken at five-thirty under now Standard Time, six-thirty if we hadn't set the clocks back an hour, so not a bad night's sleep. Up to take the blood pressure as always to find it behaving, up for good finally a little early around seven to drive to breakfast, park and enter the indoor dining area and settle down at my table to start on the papers. A bright sun this morning, nothing to complain about.
The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up after nine to walk to the car and drive home, take the selfie in the lobby and then settle in at the computer after checking the blood pressure (looked good), messing with yesterday's messy entry, post it and process the morning pictures, starting here by ten-thirty. Again, sunny, a day to walk over to the lake and maybe work a little harder on coming up with a couple of decent pictures.
Later. A quick and too short walk down to the lake to check out the white column pergola area. No musicians performing just after noon, not as many people as there'd been yesterday, The Embarcadero hadn't been sealed off and filled with street vendors.
Back to take a shot at setting up my Xfinity internet to find I wasn't getting a signal over their wire. There's an Xfinity outlet by the television, but I suspect there's something wrong with the connector or the cable. We'll give them a call tomorrow. Also experiencing the usual wobbly feeling while standing. Doesn't lend itself to doing much more than hunkering down with the tablet or the television.
Evening. Appreciate the hour earlier light in the mornings, don't much care about the trade off with the hour earlier darkness it gives you in the evenings as I don't go out after dark. Lights out just before nine.
