Usual
Tuesday. To sleep not too long after ten to awaken just before six, take the blood pressure (132/84, 140/67, 138/80), think about it for a bit and then decide to take it again with the Lazle blood pressure meter that I'd replaced with this Omron unit that was now giving me these high readings. I'd gotten the Omron unit to check it against the Lazle and both turned out to be giving very similar readings. Now would the Lazle match the Omron? The Lazle was lower taken just minutes after (122/71, 122/72, 119/66). Hmm.
Up again at the usual time to drive to breakfast. It had been raining quite hard when I first awoke, but wasn't when I set out driving, parking by the 7-11 store as always and walking to the restaurant. Entered, turned on the lights in the indoor dining area and settled down at my usual table with the papers.
The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing just after nine and heading to the car. It had started raining again fairly hard during breakfast, but had stopped by the time I'd finished, so best I hadn't walked was the thinking.
Home to take the selfie in the lobby, visit the bathroom without needing to be in a rush and take the blood pressure again, the Omron reading (138/70, 131/77, 131/72) followed by the Lazle (115/62, 122/62, 117/65). Oh. That's a real difference. Maybe the Omron has started screwing up for some reason. More to be done on this, I think.
Later. Pretty much flaked out for the afternoon, stopping any writing here today and making it up tomorrow morning after breakfast. A Korean Netflix movie I didn't need to watch, but did anyway. The various news programs and that's what I can remember.
Evening. The blood pressure got higher again as evening approached and so a double dose of the blood pressure med, a total of four doses for the day. Not sure what that means, but it can't be good. Nothing on television and so to bed by eight-thirty. I was reading a news article that said the best time to get to sleep at night was between ten to eleven (they say it's good for the heart) and so I was thinking about that and ended up not getting to sleep until after ten. As usual.
