After

Wednesday. A pretty good night's rest, awakening just before six to take the blood pressure, the Omron unit reading OK, but a little higher than I'd have liked, the Lazle unit about ten points better. Which is the more accurate? Who knows? Up after listening to Democracy Now! to walk to breakfast under a bright sun, feeling just fine, thank you, arriving to settle down at my table and start on the papers.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, the weight OK on the scale this morning, finishing up just after nine to walk home, again under a bright sun, the temperature just fine, most of the people on the street not wearing a mask.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby, go to the bathroom without rushing, take the blood pressure to find the Omron meter had dropped the pressure by over twenty points, the Lazle now reading lower with numbers close to matching the Omron results. OK. I guess. Finished yesterday's entry, posted, processed the morning pictures and started here.

Later. Made an appointment for tomorrow afternoon with Xfinity for a tech to come out to see if we can't get this equipment they've sent me to connect to the Internet. Cross off one entry on my “stuff I've been putting off” list.

Otherwise the usual watch this and that on the tablet, listen to the various news programs and take a second dose of the blood pressure med in the mid-afternoon as the blood pressure rose higher than I'd have liked.

Evening. Stayed up long enough to look at Midsomer Murders at eight, decided I'd seen it before and didn't need to see it again and so went to bed: lights out by nine, my lights out not all that long after.

The photo up top was taken at the 2015 Oakland Museum of California with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
