Thereafter
Thursday. To sleep not long after ten, if not sooner, to awaken just before six to take the blood pressure (looked good), listen to Democracy Now! and then get up and walk to breakfast under another bright sun, arriving to enter the restaurant, turn on the lights in the indoor dining area and settle in at my table with the papers.
The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up just after nine to walk home taking the same series of flower pictures and the like as I've now been taking forever. Again, I have no complaints other than over COVID and people who steal old guy's cameras.
Arrived home to take the selfie in the lobby and settle in at the computer to finish yesterday's entry, post, process the morning's pictures and start here.
Later. Received an email saying the Xfinity tech was arriving and so put on a mask and waited for him/her to buzz me on the intercom. The Xfinity tech evidently arrived, didn't buzz me on the intercom, and then immediately left, an email message arriving to say he'd been there, I hadn't been there and so I needed to make another appointment. Do I really need to change over to Xfinity? It occurred to me I was committing to a year's contract. Am I going to be here for another year?
More time watching a Britbox series on the tablet and listening to the news programs that start at two. Well, some of them. Not much news I haven't read/listened to that's new.
Evening. Checked out Vera at eight and managed to watch fifteen or so minutes of it before deciding I was tired and so went to bed, lights out after nine, my lights out soon thereafter.
