Higher
Friday. To sleep around ten to then awaken with the alarm at six-thirty after one of my longer night's sleep. No complaints. Up to take the blood pressure, both meters in agreement that the pressure was looking good and so up after listening to the rest of Democracy Now! to drive to the Lakeshore ATM under sunny skies and then on over the hill to park by the 7-11 store, cross Grand, enter the restaurant, turn on the indoor dining area lights and settle in at my table with the papers.
The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up just after nine to walk to the car, drive home, take the selfie in the lobby, boot the computer and then put together the laundry and start the first two loads before continuing here. Not a bad start, although the head a little fuzzy, forgetting little things along the way with the laundry that made me wonder. Nothing over the top, you understand, but forgetting obvious steps I've been doing forever now and blanked out on this morning.
Later. Finished the laundry by noon, took the blood pressure again to find it just fine on the Omron meter, ten points lower on the Lazle. Between the two I'm assuming it's doing fine.
Continued watching Shetland, a Britbox series, a series I believe I've watched in the past with apparent interest. Not sure how this one is going (Season 5), but I keep watching, their accents making it harder to hear everything clearly as they do for me in Vera and others.
Oh, and the laundry is folded and hung, the socks getting their turn as I sat folding them listening to the news on television.
Evening. Similar readings on both meters, the Omron good, the Lazle ten points lower, this at three in the afternoon. Took the blood pressure med to see how the readings look in the late afternoon, early evening when they tend to be higher. Took another med. They were higher.
