Time

Tuesday. Lights out at ten to sleep straight through until six and lie on the bed listening to Democracy Now! on the radio before checking for rain (wet, but no sign it was raining) and taking the blood pressure (115/81). Out the door at six forty-five, no rain, not all that cool, but overcast and dark.

The restaurant was up and running at seven and so the plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast to look up from the papers at eight to see it was raining really hard. OK, maybe time finishing up breakfast to when a bus arrives, where'd all that rain come from? Finished up to head out the door, not raining, a bus was arriving as I was exiting. Decided to walk. We're into walking for another however long to see if it doesn't help with the fuzzy head and the lack of stamina.

No rain on the way home, the workers still erecting scaffolding in front of the building below my apartment where they're going to construct condominium and apartment units, home to put together yesterday's entry and then post. And then crash on the bed for an hour, only fair after measuring the blood pressure at 139/78.

Should do the laundry, but I'll put it off until tomorrow. Still overcast, but no rain so far and we do need to get in a decent walk, at least as long as yesterday's. He said. Again.

Later. Eighty degrees at close to four o'clock this afternoon. No wonder I've been living in front of the fan.

I've been putting off getting a haircut for too long now and so used it as an excuse to set out and make an appointment at a new shop that's opened recently near my morning restaurant, only to discover they'd closed early for the day. OK, a walk then to the ice cream shop to have two scoops in a cup and then walk back home, this in the earlier afternoon, but still quite warm in a long sleeved shirt. Didn't take any pictures.

Back to lie down with the fan at the base of the bed to watch whatever on the tablet, the head doing its usual fuzzy head stuff, the upper palate aching. Ah, well. Naps, at least, are good for handing this stuff.

Evening. Nothing on television and so to bed early, more tablet, no thought to do any reading. I read the morning papers for a couple of hours, but no longer spend much time going through the various magazines I receive in bed in the evenings. Haven't done this is some time. Hmm.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 DEFEND DACA! demonstration in Frank Ogawa Plaza with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
