After

Sunday. OK, awoke a couple of times during the night, but briefly, going right back to sleep to awaken then for good just after six, about right. Up to get ready to drive to breakfast on another clear skies, bright sun morning to find the car battery almost fully charged when I set out for breakfast. Good, we'll drive and then hook it up again after we get back home and let it finish.

Arrived at the restaurant at five minutes to seven to find it dark, but the dining area door open and so entered to turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. Quite a few articles on climate change and our California fires this morning, the creation of micro grids and the like to, if not fix, then go a long way toward solving the power outing problem and so didn't finish up reading until well after nine.

The two strips of bacon, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee because I couldn't think of anything else I wanted. This morning's gas prices had gone up four cents a gallon for regular overnight and so a walk across the street to take a pictures for the link up above, back to get in the car and drive home, blowing off the trip to the supermarket again. My rationale was I'd drive later today after the car was fully charged, not that that made any sense, but that's what I did, getting home to take the selfie and then settle in here to post yesterday's entry and start on this.

Again, a nice day, they're saying a high of sixty-nine degrees, just about right.

Later. Watched the 49'ers game, at least the last three quarters in which they pretty much dominated the Los Angeles Rams. A walk to the lake to snap a set of pictures, some of which turned out, some of which didn't, and none of which are even slightly original, but a good (albeit short) outing none the less. I did get a picture of what the web says is a Swan Goose which has a natural breeding range in inland Mongolia, northernmost China, and southeastern Russia.

Evening. To bed again by eight, lights out by nine-thirty, my lights out soon after.

The photo up top was taken at the 2013 Fruitvale Dia de los Muertos Street Festival with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
