Nine-Thirty

Monday. Awoke at a quarter to six. OK, up after six to get ready to walk to breakfast on a dark, overcast and relatively cold morning, arriving at the restaurant before seven to find it open and people inside. Not a bad start to a Columbus Indigenous Peoples’ Day I'd say.

The single pork chop, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up by eight-thirty to set out for home, still no sun, but taking the usual series of snapshots including a bicyclist under the 580 Overpass and, of course, the selfie in the building lobby when I got home.

Yesterday's entry was a mess and so posted it and went to bed for an hour to let the head clear. Seems part of the routine, do this and then to bed in the late morning to let the head clear.

Later. Didn't drive to the supermarket, but hung around the apartment until I got too antsy to stay inside and so walked up the way to take a couple of pictures of the construction site, not that they'd done all that much since the last visit, and then a walk over to the lake, all this with the small V3 camera, not the best choice for photographs by the lake. Sat in the sun for a while before returning home to the apartment.

Evening. For some reason I checked the public station that had carried the various foreign MHz television programs I followed in the past, dropping them some time back, but found a British television program I've not heard of before playing. Not the MHz series, but a British program that held my interest until it finished at nine. Will check it again tomorrow night after the debate. To bed at nine, lights out by nine-thirty.

The photo up top was taken while walking home from breakfast this morning with a Nikon 1 V3 mounted with a 10-30mm f 3.5-5.6 VR Nikkor 1 lens.
