Winter

Sunday Another uneven night's sleep to awaken finally at six-fifteen to listen to the last half of CounterSpin followed by TUC Radio before getting up on another overcast and cold morning similar to yesterday morning. Added a sweater to the mix this time before driving to breakfast at the usual time, the waitress just finishing setting out the patio tables when I arrived. Settled in with the Sunday papers.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee again, the weight holding within range, but thinking (after listening to the TUC Radio broadcast earlier) maybe take the diet in better hand, shave off three pounds and start getting more exercise. More hallucinating than thinking, in other words.

Finished up at nine-thirty and walked to the car to drive straight home, snap the selfie in the lobby and settle in at the computer to start all this.

Later. Watched the 49'ers - Patriots game. I haven't followed either team , but a good game, nice to see the 49'ers win. The sun came out just after noon, but nothing other than the occasional thought to go outside, none of them serious. No changes there.

Evening. Skipped watching the 60 Minutes interview with the president where he evidently walked out upset over the interviewer's “questions”. I find it difficult to listen to the man without discomfort. So to bed spreading the blanket at the foot of the bed out so it covered the entire bed for the first time since last winter.

The photo up top was taken at the San Francisco 2018 Anime & Cosplay Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
