Monday To sleep pretty much right after ten to awaken at six. Not bad. Up to walk to breakfast under clear skies to arrive at the restaurant a little early and settle in with the papers. They're setting up the table out on their patio earlier these days.
The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for no good reason, I was thinking I'd rather have had the waffle with fruit instead as I was ordering, finishing up early before nine and setting out for home taking a couple of flower pictures, then one of a plant that had been cut out of its planter (crappy thing to see).
On along Grand stopping at what was available in the usual planters and finding a single bloom below the Lakeview school before crossing at the 580 overpass and snap a pictures of an abandoned car that had sprouted paint in these last few days.
On along home to take the selfie in the lobby before settling in at the computer and start on this. What to write to allow fitting in all the picture links?
Later. Another afternoon spent on the tablet and kicking around the apartment making some small progress at getting things in order. Nothing particularly ambitious, you understand, but progress. Of sorts.
Evening. Nothing on television I wanted to watch and so to bed not long after eight to listen to the news on the radio, lights out and radio off again just after ten, having stopped any more writing here at noon. We're in a rut, we are, but so I suspect are many others.
