Out
Tuesday To sleep not long after ten to wake up twice (thrice?) for very short periods to take a leak, awakening then for good at six-thirty after a decent night's sleep. No complaints.
A walk under clear but cold skies to be the first to sit out on the restaurant patio at my table and start on the papers. Ordered the plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up at a quarter after nine to set out comfortably for home under a bright sun, happily taking the usual set of pictures.
They say we're still looking at mid-seventies to low eighties highs for the next ten days, today's high projected to be seventy-seven degrees. I don't really remember what temperatures we've had in the past during October, although I do remember in 1969 heading to my first job in San Francisco on October 28th when it was raining cats and dogs. Hasn't been raining here in way too long.
Home to take the selfie and head up to the apartment and the computer to start on this.
Later. A walk up to the UPS store to buy two cardboard boxes to ship a pile of old 1970's underground comix to the videographer in South Carolina, some eighty of them. They're worth some money, but I'll never go to the trouble of selling them and so they're just taking up space.
Evening. The air quality has been good, we did reach seventy-seven degrees earlier, but it's cooled down fairly rapidly since. Nothing on television I wanted to watch and so to bed early, listening to the last three innings of the World Series (congrats to the L.A. Dodgers) before lights out.
