Ten

Friday. An uneven night's sleep I seem to recall, awakening then at six twenty-five to get up, take the blood pressure to find it just fine and so skipped taking the blood pressure med and set out walking to breakfast under clear skies, the temperature a little cold wearing a light summer jacket. Arrived just before the waitresses arrive to enter the indoor dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee again, the weight still just under one-fifty on the scale this morning, finishing up well after nine to set out under what now was a bright sun with a slight breeze. Quite comfortable actually. Took some of the usual pictures feeling just fine to arrive home, take the selfie in the lobby and settle in at the computer after taking the blood pressure again. And again it was well within line.

Finished yesterday's entry, posted it and processed the morning pictures, but didn't flake out at that point to quit and lie down, but started with this. Hmm. Nice day so far.

Later. Lied down with the tablet and watched more episodes from a couple of series, one Prime, one Netflix, before I took the still behaving blood pressure again and then listened to the three news programs that start at two. Bright sun out there beyond the balcony door, they're saying a high of eighty degrees later.

More episodes of series on the tablet, finishing two of them, both watchable, but both with characters behaving in ways no sensible person, smart or dumb, would have done who was planning to survive.

Evening. Watched the first half hour of Inspector Morse at eight, quit, went right to bed to put away the tablet and turn out the lights, still half awake at ten.

The photo up top was taken at the Oakland 2013 Chinatown StreetFest with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
