Here In Oakland

Art & Life

October 17, 2021

Thereafter

Sunday. Didn't feel like doing anything here yesterday, it seems, and so no posting. Not that it matters, of course, but it makes me wonder. To bed last night before nine to awaken after six to eventually get up and drive to breakfast under clear skies, arriving to sit at my table inside and start on the papers. Yesterday the indoor dining area was packed to the point I was worried. This morning it had but one other customer. Go figure.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee again, the weight still just under my one-fifty pound lower limit target on the scale this morning, finishing up well after nine to walk to the car and drive home to take the selfie in the lobby before settling in at the computer. The blood pressure has been behaving with but one dose of the blood pressure med in the evenings, not sure even one is really required.

Later. The blood pressure was holding until late in the afternoon when I took the first med, otherwise finished movies and two series on the tablet. Talk about being in a rut.

Evening. To bed not long after eight, lights out well before ten, to sleep one hopes soon thereafter.

The photo up top was taken at the Oakland 2014 Chinatown StreetFest with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
