Wednesday. Somewhat uneven, but not a bad night's sleep last night, awakening at six to take the blood pressure and listen to Democracy Now! before setting out driving to the Lakeshore ATM in a very light rain and then over the hill on Mandana to park by the 7-11 store and walk to the restaurant, arriving at about the same time as I usually do, but having to wait for maybe five minutes for the first two staff members to arrive and unlock the front door. OK, into the indoor dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. So far, so good.

The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up by nine to walk to the car and drive straight home to mistake the selfie in the lobby, head for the bathroom and then settle in at the computer to start on this. Not bad, the blood pressure pretty much behaving, now to start the laundry and what we need to get done for the day will be underway.

Later. The laundry done by one. Or so. Otherwise more time on the tablet, an attempt at a nap that didn't take, tired and a little wobbly, but not able to sleep. The blood pressure did its usual run-up around midafternoon and so a dose of the blood pressure med. We'll see if it has an effect, but the late afternoons seem to run high no matter what, the pressure dropping overnight. Maybe this is built in after a certain number of years in this life and my number has come up.

Evening. Watched Midsomer Murders at eight. Hadn't thought I was going to watch it all the way through, but ended up doing so, finishing around nine-thirty. Thought maybe I'd seen it before when it reached the end, maybe had, but such is the memory for old shows anymore. Lights out before nine, raining, no need to run the fan at the foot of the bed.
