Morning
Friday. To sleep soon enough after ten, I seem to recall, to awaken feeling like lead at ten minutes to six, although it would seem that I'd gotten enough sleep last night, enough, anyway, not to be feeling like lead. Up to take the blood pressure to find it fine, back to bed to listen to Democracy Now! and then up to get the papers to find two copies of the Chronicle, but no copy of The New York Times. The delivery person does this, not very often fortunately, but why leave two copies of the Chronicle or The East Bay Times when they come in very different well marked color plastic bags? Ah, well.
Raining hard enough to require the wipers on full and so drove to breakfast, parking by the 7-11 store again and then walking under an umbrella to the restaurant to settle in at my table and start on (the two skinny) papers.
The ground beef patty, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, still way down on the scale this morning, finishing up early to walk to the car, but not requiring the umbrella as it had pretty much stopped raining. Drove straight home to take the selfie in the lobby, go by the bathroom (no urgent rush to get there, which was nice) and settle in at the computer to start the morning finish/post/start here routine.
Later. I've managed to start three foreign sub-titled series on Netflix and Prime that are proving to be embarrassing to watch. Silly, none of the interactions between these unbelievable characters would ever happen in real life and I'm a little depressed I've continued with them this far. But I have.
Evening. The blood pressure has been behaving better since the late afternoon, which is nice. No readings too far over the top. Watched the first half hour of Inspector Morse before quitting (yes, I'd seen it before and didn't need to see it again) and went to bed, thinking I'd get to sleep early again, but found myself wide awake until sometime well after midnight. Not looking forward to the morning.
