After Ten

Monday. To sleep after ten to awaken with the alarm at six-thirty and so up to take the blood pressure (115/66, 106/70, 114/65), listen to the last half of Democracy Now! and drive to breakfast at the usual time after seven to arrive, park beside the 7-11 store and walk to the restaurant, settling in at my usual table in the indoor dining room with the papers.

The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up just after nine to set out for the car and drive straight home to take the selfie in the lobby and then settle in at the computer after taking the blood pressure again (100/69, 114/71, 109/74).

Tired. Not sure why, but tired in a way I've been tired now for some time recently and so lied down on the bed and didn't start the writing here until later at three in the afternoon.

Later. This talking about being tired business gets old, but it's real and more like a half tired, half a little dizzy/wobbly feeling that makes you want to lie down. Which I did through the afternoon, the so-called tired/wobbly feeling pretty much going away while on the bed. Go figure.

Evening. The blood pressure has held within bounds and so no blood pressure med today. More time with the tablet as there was nothing on television I wanted to watch and so lights out not long after nine, but still half awake until well after ten.

The photo up top was taken at the 2015 Oakland Pride Festival with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
