Hope

Wednesday. Can't say I was wired yesterday, but certainly clear headed and unfortunately remaining such until after midnight when I finally got to sleep, awakening with the alarm at six-thirty to get up and take the blood pressure to find it high and so took the blood pressure med before getting up finally and taking the blood pressure again thirty minutes later to find it closer to normal. Not an accurate reading that first time around? Ah, well. Up to walk to breakfast, arriving to settle in at my usual table and start on the papers.

The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up after nine to walk back home taking the usual set of pictures feeling less than coherent or sharp. The same old tired.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby, take the blood pressure to find it much lower and on the edge of being too low. OK. Finished yesterday's entry, posted it, processed the morning pictures and then stopped after writing the first paragraph above, not continuing until tomorrow morning. Lower to too low having its effect.

Later. Lied down for a while, still woozy, but talked myself into getting up to drive to the lab to get the monthly Protime blood thinner test to find the lab had been shut down. OK. Back to the car and home, we'll make an appointment with one of their labs at another of their locations.

Spent the rest of the afternoon on the tablet, taking a blood pressure reading at five to find it had climbed higher than I've seen it before and so took two doses of the blood pressure med. It took three hours for it to lower into “normal” territory. Too low and now too high, me-oh-my.

Evening. Watched the beginning of Midsomer Murders for maybe twenty minutes before bailing and going to bed, lights out by ten, to sleep soon after. I hope.

The photo up top was taken at the 2015 Oakland Pride Festival with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
