Feeling
Thursday. To sleep after ten last night to awaken then for good at ten minutes to six to take the blood pressure (117/72, 120/69, 115/73) which was good, listen to Democracy Now! and then set out walking to breakfast under somewhat overcast skies, arriving feeling a little tired to turn on the indoor dining area lights and settle in with the papers.
The chicken-apple sausage, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee because I remembered I hadn't had the chicken-apple sausage in some time, finishing up after nine to head to the bathroom with good results and then walk home dragging ass and taking pictures. Tired, wobbly and wanting to lie down.
Home to take the selfie in the lobby and then take the blood pressure: 98/69, 97/60, 84/59. Oh, although it did fit how I was feeling. Lied down after poorly editing yesterday's entry and posting to listen to the Congress hearings with the oil executives on the radio, zoning out and going to sleep for periods until one in the afternoon.
Later. The blood pressure at eleven-thirty: 106/58, 109/59, 107/65. Better, but went back to lie down on the bed and continue listening to the hearings, winding up the afternoon with the Green Bay Packers - Arizona Cardinals game on Amazon. Not a bad game, managed to watch it all the way through, the Packers winning the game in literally the last few seconds.
Evening. The blood pressure has remained right on target since noon, no run up later in the afternoon requiring I take the blood pressure med. Wish I knew why. Not complaining, you understand, but still.
Watched the first half hour of Vera at eight before heading for bed, turning the lights out and the radio off around nine-thirty and thinking it shouldn't be all that hard to get to sleep from the way I was feeling.
