Now

Sunday. Awakening at five-thirty. OK, that's what happens when you turn out the lights too early, no complaints. Listened to the radio for a while before stirring, taking the blood pressure - 98/76 - and then getting ready to head out and drive to breakfast except the papers hadn't arrived. OK, wait. Finally, just before seven, the delivery guy drove by to then arrive for breakfast just after seven, the waitresses just then opening the restaurant. The late arrival was probably for the best.

The corned beef hash, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast and coffee for breakfast over the papers, most of the reporting on stories I was more than familiar with but still ending up finishing around nine. Thought about going by the supermarket for about ten seconds, but opted to drive home, the sun bright, the day ahead.

The Rockridge Out and About today starting at noon. Not hard to get to and I'm thinking, since the head seems clear and the energy is present, to go and take pictures. I haven't posted any since (good grief!) 2013? That long? Have I gone more recently and not gotten enough pictures to post?

Later. Watched the Mr. Sunshine episode that was released today, episode twenty-two. The last two, twenty-three and twenty-four, will be released next weekend. For the best, I've seen enough of Mr. Sunshine by now, but it's been well worth the watching, every well over an hour long episode of it. A unique combination of soap opera, shoot-em-up, chop-em-up (and down), political turmoil and anti-Japanese excess. Korean made, they clearly still have issues outstanding with the Japanese.

A walk over to the lake looking to see what might be going on, the eyes not focusing in the distance after all the time I spent with the tablet as I'd also watched a couple of episodes of the BBC series Silk before setting out.

A young woman had put up a wire mesh panel and was encouraging people to place aluminum can pull tabs on it in whatever design came to mind and so a couple of pictures. She hadn't had it in place when I was walking by heading to the white column pergola and so there wasn't yet much to show, but an interesting idea.

I obviously didn't attend the Rockridge Out & About. Not a surprise, although there was indeed a chance I might go.

Evening. Burned out with the tablet and nothing on television, the blood pressure 123/83 at nine before I turned out the lights. We'll make some calls in the morning to two doctors' offices to straighten one or two things I've kept hanging for some time now.
