Try
Wednesday To sleep around ten, maybe earlier, to awaken then at seven. I was indeed tired late yesterday and seem to have gotten more sleep last night than I can remember. Be nice to have it happen more often. The Chronicle Air Quality Map showed Oakland as being Moderate and San Francisco as being Good with the wind coming off the ocean and so maybe we'll get it down to Good here in Oakland, although I've been wrong in guessing this before.
Anyway, awakening at seven I was running a bit behind and so scrambled to get it together to drive to breakfast under overcast skies, flaking out on walking. Came close, but when I reached the building lobby I opted to enter the garage instead of exiting the front door. Arrived at the restaurant early, but settled in comfortably enough at my table on the patio and started on the papers.
The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee again, finishing up by nine-fifteen (again) and heading for the car to drive straight home, take the selfie in the lobby and settle in with yesterday's entry to finish it and post.
Not many photographs to process when driving and so finished up here an hour earlier than usual, the day still overcast. Maybe set out later to see if I can walk to the Lakeshore ATM, see how bad the damage of all this sitting and lying around inside has been causing rather than driving by the ATM tomorrow morning instead.
Fat chance of that.
I'm afraid.
Later. Watched Les Misérables, a Prime 2020 movie version set in modern France. It was quite good. Hard to find movies anymore that leave me thinking they're “quite good”.
A bath, more listening to and watching (half watching) the news, doing this more through long ingrained habit than any real interest in what's going on. With all this reading, listening and watching most of it's a repeat of what you're already familiar with from the various sources, but it does fill an afternoon.
Evening. Nothing on television and burned out on the tablet and so to bed just before nine to turn the lights out and the radio off, thinking we'll see if we can get to sleep early again and maybe sleep in later. Can't tell, after all, unless you try.
