After

Friday. To sleep reasonably soon after thinking maybe I wouldn't be able to, at least if I'm remembering correctly, to awaken at five forty-five on another overcast and not overly warm morning. Took the blood pressure (119/74, 127/71, 124/70) and got up finally after listening to Democracy Now! to walk to breakfast. Sat at my usual indoor dining area table when I arrived and started on the papers.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee again, finishing by nine to set out for home only to suddenly realize that I'd better turn right around and return to the restaurant to use their bathroom. It was something of a race, but got back in time to set out again, taking pictures, the sky still overcast and cool.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby and then take the blood pressure (105/75, 94/67, 95/68) to find another unexpected drop that seemed to explain why I was feeling so tired. OK, finished yesterday's entry, posted it, processed the morning's pictures and skipped starting here and opting for a nap instead. An hour and a half's nap.

Later. Up in time to listen to the news programs that started at two. Turned them on, anyway, hard to say I was totally listening as I was also on the computer as they played in the background. Wound the afternoon up watching this and that on the tablet, the blood pressure behaving until I took it at five to find the systolic up into the low one-thirties and so took the blood pressure med thinking maybe, if I'm going to take it once a day again, start taking it with the rest of the meds first thing in the morning.

Evening. Tired again. Turned on Inspector Morse for thirty minutes at eight before giving up and heading to bed. Lights out just after nine, my lights out soon after.

The photo up top was taken in 2015 at the ‘Vigil for Mike Brown and All Our Fallen’ with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
